Roles are available for nine adult males (varying ages and ethnicities) and one adult female (20s-30s). The director for Of Mice and Men requests that auditionees prepare a maximum one-minute performance-ready monologue (memorized). Monologues can be from the show if you choose, but the director encourages you to choose a piece that showcases your talent best. Playwrights who would fit the style of the show include Arthur Miller and Tennessee Williams. There will be a generic monologue available at auditions for those unfamiliar with the monologue audition process, but the director highly encourages everyone to choose their own. There will also be cold reading of sides from the show.
The production will run Nov. 6-15 and will be directed by Patric Phillips.

Beloved by generations of readers and brought vividly to life onstage, Nobel Prize winner John Steinbeck’s classic novel “Of Mice and Men” is a heartbreaking and powerful portrait of the human spirit.
