Tim Giles, the other South Carolinian with his own late night talk show, will host the fourth installment of “The Latest Thing in Spartanburg” Friday at 9 p.m. in the downstairs arena of the Spartanburg Memorial Auditorium.
Sponsored by Hub-Bub, “The Latest Thing in Spartanburg” will feature special guests Kolby Garrison of Hub City Tap House, television personality Jamarcus Gaston of “Studio 62” and Spartanburg native and New York-based musician Rob Townsend from the DesChamps Band and the Belleville Outfit.
Other surprises include comedy sketches by Scrappy Shakespeare thespians Liam MacDougall and Chandler Crawford and a house band comprised of members of the University of South Carolina Upstate Commercial Music Group.
Tickets are $12 in advance and $15 on the day of the show with discounts available to students with valid college IDs.
