Antoinette Hall Scores Best Actress Win for ‘Every Brilliant Thing’

The Market Theatre Company’s debut Mobile Production Unit show Every Brilliant Thing traveled to Memphis, TN this weekend for the Southeastern Theatre Conference Community Theatre Festival and scored a Best Actress win for Antoinette Hall, star of this one-woman show about the depths of depression and her character’s ever-growing list of every brilliant thing to live for.

Some of our readers may have seen The Warehouse’s production of Every Brilliant Thing in December 2019 starring the late, great David Lee Nelson, or the 2016 HBO film. Written by Duncan Macmillan and Johnny Donahoe, the solo piece is not a true story per se, but the journey feels real.

The show is making the rounds in the Upstate including a stop in Greenwood Wednesday at 7:30 pm Greenwood Community Theatre and in Spartanburg at 7:30 pm at Proud Mary Theatre’s stage at the Artists Collective Spartanburg. All shows are FREE and audience participation is a key ingredient in the show.
