Auditions for The Odd Couple (The Female Version) @ Cleveland County Arts Council | | |

The Greater Shelby Community Theatre is holding auditions for our final show of the 2015-2016 season, Neil Simon’s “The Odd Couple (Female Version)” directed by Caroline Dedmon!

Join us to audition for this hilarious comedy on Sunday, May 15, 4 to 7 p.m. and on Monday, May 16, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Cleveland County Arts Council, 111 S. Washington St., Shelby. We are looking to fill six adult female roles of varying age and two adult male roles.

Unger and Madison are at it again! Florence Unger and Olive Madison, that is, in Neil Simon’s hilarious contemporary comic classic: the female version of The Odd Couple. Instead of the poker party that begins the original version, Ms. Madison has invited the girls over for an evening of Trivial Pursuit. The Pidgeon sisters have been replaced by the two Constanzuela brothers. But the hilarity remains the same.

Show Dates: Friday and Saturday, July 8, 9, 15, 16 at 7:30 p.m.
Sunday, July 10 and 17 at 2:30 p.m.

Annie Nations, an indomitable Appalachian widow of 79, lives on her mountain farm with the acerbic ghost of her husband Hector.
