Milpitas Apartment Tragedy: Four Family Members Found Dead in Shocking Scene

MILPITAS, CA – Four family members, including two adults and two children, were found dead inside an apartment in Milpitas on Tuesday night. The discovery occurred at the Turing Apartments, located at 1355 McCandless Drive, after a welfare check was requested by concerned relatives who had not heard from the family for several days.

Milpitas police officers were dispatched just before 9 p.m. and entered the apartment, where they found a woman, a man, and two pre-teen children with “obvious signs of death.” All four individuals were pronounced dead at the scene. The identities of the deceased have not been released, and the cause of death is under investigation by the Santa Clara County Coroner’s Office. Police said that more information would be provided once the investigation progresses.

Lt. Tyler Jamison of Millbrae Police, who addressed the press Wednesday afternoon, confirmed that it appeared to be an “isolated incident” with no threat to the public. “Based on all available information, there is no ongoing danger,” Jamison stated.

The tragic discovery shocked neighbors. Jerry Saldana, who lives directly above the apartment, described the situation as “scary,” especially considering his own family. “We have children ourselves, and to think that we’re just right above the unit where it happened is unsettling,” he said.

Savannah Ray Dizon, who works at a business below the complex, expressed her surprise, noting the quiet nature of the neighborhood. “It’s a very quiet neighborhood, so to hear about this is shocking, especially with kids involved,” Dizon said.

Milpitas police are continuing their investigation into the incident. While they have not shared specific details about the family’s identities or relationships, authorities have stated that they are working diligently to piece together the facts.

Jamison remarked. He also acknowledged the emotional toll on the officers who responded to the scene, providing necessary resources to help them through such challenging situations.

As the investigation unfolds, Milpitas police have assured the public that they will share pertinent information when it is appropriate to do so. For now, authorities continue to seek clarity regarding the circumstances of this devastating tragedy.
