Gwinnett County police successfully apprehended Emmanuel Williams, a 20-year-old suspect wanted in connection with a triple shooting in South Carolina, including injuries to a one-year-old child. The arrest followed a dramatic police chase, ending with a Precision Immobilization Technique (PIT) maneuver on Sugarloaf Parkway and Duluth Highway last Wednesday night.

Seneca Police Chief Casey Bowling detailed the events, noting that the violent incident occurred just hours before the chase. The suspect allegedly shot his girlfriend, her mother, and his child in Seneca, South Carolina, before fleeing to Georgia.

Williams now faces 11 charges in Georgia, including felony fleeing, in addition to four counts of attempted murder in South Carolina. Law enforcement officials from both states credited interagency coordination as a key factor in the swift arrest.
“This was a very violent crime, a horrific incident,” Bowling remarked. Thankfully, the victims are reportedly recovering, though authorities have not released a motive for the shootings.
